Creating a successful wetroom requires more than a modern finish. Every layer must work together to ensure long-term waterproofing, durability, and reliability. Marmox’s updated wetroom range provides a complete system for installers and specifiers.
At the core is the redesigned Marmox Multiboard Showerlay, made from waterproof Multiboard. It forms a strong tiled wetroom base and helps prevent water ingress beneath the surface.
Recent updates improve on-site installation. A 100mm fleece overhang around the edges simplifies tanking between floor and walls, creating a secure waterproof seal with less effort. Each Showerlay can also be trimmed up to 100mm per side without affecting performance, offering flexibility for renovations and non-standard layouts.
Drainage options include centre or offset point drains and linear drains with offset outlets. Grates are available in stainless steel, black, white, copper, gold, or a tileable finish.
Marmox Multiboards provide waterproof, thermally insulating wall and boxing-in solutions. Lightweight and easy to cut, they suit tiling, plastering, and rendering, accommodating pipework and corners while improving thermal efficiency and reducing condensation, especially with underfloor heating.
The range also includes Tileable Basins and recessed Niches for integrated bathroom design. Basins come in four styles, while new niche sizes (1200x400mm and 600x300mm) provide practical storage without compromising waterproofing.
Together, Marmox Showerlays, Multiboards, Basins, and Niches form a complete wetroom system for residential, hotel, and refurbishment projects, simplifying installation while ensuring reliable waterproof protection from the base up.
